Our CNAs play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care in a transitional setting between hospital and home.General PurposeThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and diningMeasure and record vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructedRespond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for assistance are checked frequentlyObserve and report changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge NurseAssist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directedProvide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervisionMaintain resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly mannerFollow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all timesReport accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediatelyFoster a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkersSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesQualificationsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsActive California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification requiredCPR certification preferredSkills & AbilitiesAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalismStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsPhysical DemandsAbility to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident mobilityMay be required to assist during emergency or evacuation situationsWork EnvironmentSkilled Nursing FacilityNoise level generally low to moderateReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
