BEPC is actively looking for Sourcing Specialist, in Tucson, AZ area!W2 Contract – 1 year with possible extensions!Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurancePay Rate: $35 - $40 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)Work Model: Onsite Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be consideredSummary of the Role:BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Specialist to join our client’s site in Tucson, AZ. This role will support Direct Procurement Operations activities, ensuring alignment with Category Management strategies, with a focus on supplier management, escalations, master data management, cost savings, and continuous improvement.Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Execute Direct Procurement Operations activities aligned with Category Management strategies.Manage suppliers and handle escalations.Perform master data management.Support cost savings initiatives.Drive continuous improvement activities.Qualifications: University degree with a business-related degree, preferably a post-graduate business qualification.3+ years of procurement experience.Experience in basic contracting, business enterprise systems, and spot buying.Experience or demonstrated understanding in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs.Preferred Qualifications:Perform industrial cleaning of production areasClean designated work areas to support ongoing production activitiesExperience in operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.Experience in Life Sciences.Experience with enterprise systems, procure-to-pay tools, and eSourcing tools.Experience with SAP or other ERP software.Keen analytical acumen.Proven success in proactively managing deliverables to ensure timely completion.Uses quantitative and/or qualitative data to drive decisions.Identifies risks to support statements or hypotheses.Works independently to develop and implement a negotiation plan / strategy (may need assistance in complex or challenging negotiations).Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer service in mind.Tailors messages and communications appropriately with limited supervision to ensure understanding.Contributes to meetings and team presentations/briefings and asks appropriate questions to gather information.Basic level of proficiency in business enterprise tools and understanding of the end-to-end procurement process.About BEPCBEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee-owned company providing top-tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries like technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
