Det-Tronics is a part of Spectrum Safety Solutions and has a global footprint with manufacturing sites in the U.S. and sales presence in all key geographies.\n\nAssemble a variety of highly technical gas and flame detection equipment in a timely manner, to meet customer demands, while maintaining the highest quality at a minimal cost.\nKey Responsibilities:\nRead and understand Assembly Prints, Bill of Materials, ECO’s and Assembly Processes.\nAssemble electrical/mechanical parts into finished products using different types of tools and assembly process equipment.\nKnowledge and use of a variety of adhesives and chemicals used in the assembly process.\nUse of computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes.\nPerform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.\nBecome cross-trained on functions and products within the department.\nPerform quality control inspection functions as part of an ongoing effort to insure the highest quality products are being shipped to our customers.\nAdaptability towards a variety of manufacturing processes and technologies.\nMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis.\nMaintain a neat work area following 5S guidelines.\nFollow Carrier Excellence & EH&S practices according to Det-Tronics/Carrier policy.\nActively participate in safety, quality and productivity improvement activities.\nComplete other tasks as assigned.
