This individual must have the ability to specify, recommend and purchase perishable tooling and work holding. Must have an excellent understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T tolerances along with very good math and reasoning skills. Please give detailed knowledge and experience on these when applying.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCreates instructions for machinist\nAbility to model to create program\nCreate model-based CNC program\nUtilize multiple CNC programming software to create CNC program\nAbility to utilize simulation software to prove out CNC programs\nCreate DNC file to store & make CNC program available\nVast knowledge of modern machining principles/methodology\nBackground in operation of CNC machines\nUpdated knowledge of state-of-the-art tooling\nAbility to communicate & teach\nReviews 3D CAD design blueprints\nMakes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut\nTranslates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program\nCommunicates with engineers and clients who will use the programs\nChecks completed programs by running simulations or tests\nPrepares geometric layout of designs using proper software\nDetermines sequence of operations in a program\nChooses cutting tools that will be needed\nAnalyzes job order and performs necessary calculations\nWrites programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency\nAnalyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs\nMakes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes\nSimplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client\nEvaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client\nMonitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task\nProvides training for clients on automated systems\nComplies with all safety rules and regulations.\n\nQualifications:\nDue to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person\nHigh School diploma\nAssociate degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field\nBachelor’s degree in computer programming or computer-related field preferred\nKnowledge of electronics and machine tools\nExperience with programming\n\nLanguage, Math, and Reasoning Ability:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.\n\nComputer Skills:\nMust be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
