Recognized as #8 on America's Most Innovative Companies list by Fortune Magazine, innovation is the core of our company DNA and has been driving our designs for 30 years!Independent Contractor Assignment:We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack AI Applications Independent Contractor to support specialized development, enhancement, and deployment of internal AI-enabled applications services. This is a hands-on assignment focused on building scalable, maintainable business tools across frontend and backend systems, including databases, APIs, integrations, and AI powered functionality.This project is expected to run for approximately 2-3 months. The contractor will be engaged in services of an anticipated commitment of up to 15 hours per week.Independent Contractor Assignment Scope of Work:Develop internal AI enabled web applications using modern full stack technologiesBuild and support both frontend and backend components, including UI, application logic, databases, and APIsImplement scalable internal tools, dashboards, and workflow driven systemsSupport AI related features such as LLM integrations, prompt based workflows, and intelligent application componentsAssist with workflow automation and system integrations using platformsReview and improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, and scalabilityApply clean coding standards, secure development practices, and general web application security principlesCollaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsParticipate in technical discussions, reviews, and deployment readiness activitiesOther scope of work may be assignedIndependent Contractor Requirements5-10 years of professional experience in full stack application or web development; AI development highly preferredStrong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind, and modern UI development practicesSolid backend experience, including APIs, SQL/database connected applications, and system integrationsProven ability to deliver clean, well structured, and maintainable codeExperience developing internal business tools or operational systemsStrong understanding of development best practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and documentationFamiliarity with secure development standards and practicesStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a contractor capacityMunchkin welcomes and values what makes everyone unique.
