This role assists in maintaining the availability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while providing technical support for networking, virtualization, cloud services, identity management, and end-user technologies. The Associate Systems Engineer works closely with senior engineers on infrastructure projects, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and documentation while developing technical expertise across multiple IT disciplines.\nWork Schedule The standard work schedule for this position is from 8:30 PM to 5:30 PM and reports to the headquarters.\nEmployees are expected to maintain a flexible work schedule and may be required to adjust their hours based on operational priorities, maintenance windows, emergency response, or other business needs.\nWhat You'll Do:\nSystems Administration\nAdminister and support Windows Server environments.\nPerform Active Directory administration, including user accounts, groups, organizational units, and Group Policy.\nManage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.\nSupport Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and authentication services.\nMonitor server health, performance, storage utilization, and system availability.\nInstall operating system updates, firmware, and security patches.\nAssist with VMware vSphere virtualization platform\nAssist with backup verification and disaster recovery testing.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.\nNetwork Administration\nConfigure and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot network connectivity issues involving switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.\nConfigure VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and network routing.\nMonitor network performance using network monitoring tools.\nAssist with firewall rule implementation and network security policies.\nSupport remote access technologies and secure VPN connectivity.\nMaintain structured cabling documentation and network diagrams.\nCloud & Identity Services\nSupport Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure.\nAdminister Microsoft Entra ID synchronization and authentication services.\nAssist with Conditional Access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).\nSupport Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with enterprise applications.\nMonitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and security.\nSecurity\nAssist with Crowdstrike endpoint security platform.\nMonitor security alerts and assist with incident response.\nSupport vulnerability remediation and patch management.\nReview system logs and assist with compliance initiatives.\nParticipate in disaster recovery and cybersecurity exercises.\nEndpoint & User Support\nServe as Tier II/III escalation for desktop and infrastructure issues.\nDeploy and manage Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM solutions.\nSupport printers, conferencing systems, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.\nTroubleshoot authentication, email, and connectivity issues.\nAssist with infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh projects.\nParticipate in server migrations, cloud initiatives, and network modernization.\nSupport implementation of new hardware and software solutions.\nWork with vendors during installations and support engagements.\nRecommend process improvements and automation opportunities.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nRequired\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n2-4 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure.\nWorking knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.\nBasic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking.\nExperience supporting Microsoft 365.\nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies (VMware).\nUnderstanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with Microsoft Azure or hybrid cloud environments.\nExperience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.\nKnowledge of PowerShell scripting.\nExperience with Cisco networking equipment.\nExperience with VMware vSphere.\nFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring platforms.\nExposure to cybersecurity frameworks and endpoint detection tools.\nIT certifications such as:\nCompTIA Network+\nCompTIA Security+\nCCS Offers: Medical and dental plans\nCompany paid vision and short and long term disability plans\nFlexible spending programs including Healthcare, Dependent Care, Transit and Parking\n401K with employer match\nOnsite fitness center (or gym membership reimbursement for client or satellite based employees)\nPaid holidays and vacation\nTechnical certification gift card rewards program\nCome experience our unique culture and see how our “right people, right results” philosophy has led to our outstanding success!
