This is a fully on-site position with consistent daylight hours and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, document indexing, and quality control processes, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze data imaging and indexing assignments to determine priorities and establish production schedules.\nAssist in developing and implementing data indexing and document processing procedures.\nPerform complex assignments involving selection, indexing, coding, and interpretation of data.\nAccurately index and process data from a variety of sources.\nReview and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with instructions, layouts, and procedures.\nEnsure quality control standards are consistently met.\nCommunicate scheduling and production issues to supervisors and escalate technical issues as needed.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed.\nCollaborate with computer operators, customers, and team members to ensure successful job setup, execution, and delivery.\nOpen, sort, and prepare incoming mail for processing (“document prep”).\nSort, classify, file, and retrieve data, mail, and materials within digital and physical filing systems.\nBatch and scan documents into the system and perform quality assurance on scanned images.\nPerform regular maintenance and cleaning of scanning equipment.\nSupport the processing of documents not cycled through the OWCP Central Mailroom facility, including interacting with the mailroom team as needed.\nPerform data entry and error correction from standard forms, resolving issues in coordination with Area, Regional, and National Offices.\nProvide clerical support including review, verification, validation, and tabulation of data.\nAssist with incoming mail handling, filing, and claims-related administrative tasks.\nPrepare various materials such as reports, folders, labels, routing slips, and mailings.\nAnswer and make telephone calls and draft correspondence related to assigned tasks.\nSupport supervisors with data input, filing, typing, file association, and other related administrative tasks.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Knowledge & Experience\nDemonstrated ability to learn and manage information systems processing operations.\nStrong knowledge of data entry systems, machine operation, practices, and procedures.\nAbility to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and personnel at various levels.\nExperience as a data entry operator involving the application of judgment in selecting procedures, interpreting data, coding, and indexing from a variety of source documents.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive wages and comprehensive fringe benefits\nHealth and Welfare package, including UHC medical insurance\nDental, vision, and life insurance coverage\nPaid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay\nDirect deposit and Wisely Pay options\nGenerous 401(k) retirement plan\nLegalShield and Identity Theft Protection options\n\nThe Data Entry Company (TDEC) is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
