Duties will include quality assurance inspections and verification of adherence to applicable specifications, construction schedule analysis, material submittal reviews, environmental submittal reviews, and other standard construction submittal reviews. Work includes construction management services, formal inspections, and supporting the final Government acceptance. Oversight will include daily inspections documented on Government forms, daily inspections, and attending recurring on-site construction meetings. Duties may also include bidding and scheduling inspection work for a range of clients. A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing, including three (3) years of quality control management of Department of Defense (DoD) construction projects. Must have completed the professionally accredited Quality Control/Quality Assurance Course (e.g., conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers or an\nSkills / Qualifications\n· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or related field.\n· 3-5 years of construction engineering experience.\n· Expertise through past experience in reviewing and confirming adherence to project plans and managing construction projects.\n· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n· Client (internal and external) service focus.\n· Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.\n· Effective organizational and time management skills with abilities to multi-task and complete various assignments at once.\nCompany Overview\nNicklaus is a multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar women owned small business with professional and technical personnel in the divisions of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering and Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Management.
