Cafe General Manager

General Manager We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our vibrant, upscale café. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-casual environment and is passionate about fresh, organic, and locally sourced food. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards. Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze P&L statements to drive revenue and profitability. Guest Experience: Maintain high service standards, address guest feedback, and create a welcoming atmosphere. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and workplace safety protocols. Inventory & Vendor Relations: Manage inventory levels, supplier relationships, and ordering processes to maintain quality and cost control. Technology & Systems Management: Utilize POS systems, scheduling software, and financial reporting tools to streamline operations. Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate on local partnerships, promotions, and social media initiatives to enhance brand presence. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role within the hospitality, café, quick-service, or fast-casual restaurant industry with scratch kitchens. Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, inventory tracking, and financial reporting tools. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities. Passion for Wellness: Interest in health-conscious dining, sustainability, and community engagement. Certifications: ServSafe Manager Certification Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
