Recommend and design new systems/software as appropriate.\n* Implement server patches on a scheduled or as needed basis.\n* Engage external vendors when needed to solve problems or bugs.\n* Act as a member of the Infrastructure Team by providing monitoring, investigation, and ongoing support to help maintain the Google cloud environment, Linux systems, and storage.\n* Ensure proper integration of vendor engineering solutions into the overall terminal engineering documentation.\n* Ensure SLAs are met on a daily basis.\n* Collaborate with the regional platform business analyst to identify opportunities to modernize, streamline and standardize the terminal tech portfolio.\n* Participates in the development of root cause analysis for major incidents impacting the terminal operations and ensure identified countermeasures are deployed as planned.\n* With the Terminal IT Infrastructure head, define the terminal Tech portfolio modernization, infrastructure simplification and applications rationalization\n\n*Preferred qualifications:*\n* _Education_ – University or higher vocational degree and certification in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline is preferred.\n* _Experience _– Minimum five (5) years of Technology Infrastructure - Systems, experience is preferred.\n* Operational Technology hardware and integration experience is preferred.\n* _Skills _– the following are strongly recommended/critical:\n* Experience with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)\n* experience with Shell scripting, VMWare, VSphere administration.\n* Experience with containerization.\n* Experience with Hyperconverged infrastructure stack.\n* Understanding of messaging frameworks, application stacks.\n* Experience working with desired state configuration tools.\n* Working experience with Kubernetes.\n* Application lifecycle and IT Service Management concepts.\n* Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.\n* Ability to effectively document technical designs and solutions.\n* Dependable ability to be self-driven and lead complex programs independently.
