Nanny/Household Manager
Position OverviewSeeking a dependable, proactive, and experienced Full-Time Nanny / Household Manager to support a family of 6 and assist a present and engaged mother in maintaining an organized, calm, and well-functioning home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with a parent, providing both childcare support and household assistance to help the family run smoothly day to day.The nanny/household manager will act as a trusted partner—stepping in where needed, anticipating needs, and helping create structure and relief in the household.Key ResponsibilitiesChildcare Support (In Partnership with Parent)Assist with daily childcare Provide independent care as needed while the parent is home or outAssist in transporting children to and from school, activities, and appointmentsSupport established routines (meals, naps, homework, play, transitions)Foster a safe, nurturing, and consistent environmentTravel with the family on occasion to assist with childcare and logisticsHousehold ManagementLight housekeeping to support daily household flow (tidying, organization, kitchen reset)Laundry for children and household (washing, folding, putting away)Meal preparation for the family and childrenHelp maintain household organization, supplies, and basic schedulesCommunicate clearly and proactively with the parent regarding priorities, needs, and changesQualifications & ExperiencePrior experience as a nanny, family assistant, or household managerComfortable working in a shared-care environment with a present parentValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong organizational, time-management, and communication skillsAbility to take initiative while respecting parental preferences and leadershipHigh level of discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalismCPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and occasional travelPreferred (Not Required)Familiarity with or interest in natural products, clean-living practices, or wellness-focused homesPersonal AttributesEnjoys working alongside others and being part of a teamSteady, dependable, and good at figuring things out as they come upComfortable taking initiative on their own while also jumping in to help as neededNaturally warm, approachable, and attentive to the little thingsBenefits & Perks2 weeks of paid time off annuallyOpportunity for a long-term, trusted role within the household
