HVAC MultiFamily Superintendent
Multi-Family SuperintendentWe are looking for a hard-working, dedicated multi-family superintendent to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for watching over a team, reviewing residential HVAC projects, reviewing schedules and timelines, and overseeing teammates throughout the project. Candidates should have experience with project management and construction, as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budget restrictions.Multi-Family Superintendent Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as a mediator between landlords and tenants to devise mutually beneficial solutionsDraw up estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and other costsImplement cost-effective solutions and project management techniques throughout projectHire, train, and assign contractors to projectMaintain a daily log of build-out progressCoordinate all HVAC project activities and services across the HVAC teamOversee a strict build-out schedule, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are metUpdate landlords and tenants on build-out progress throughout projectPerform walkthrough and aftercare instructions with landlord and tenants after project completionTotally accountable for quality installation of the projectIdentifies potential change ordersResponsible for customer relations on assigned projectsConduct weekly safety meetingsAttend cost/job reviewsSchedule manpowerInterpret HVAC drawings for craft installationPlan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functionsPerform material take-offs, ordering tools, materials, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivityCoordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progressEnsure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards & AAH work rulesSchedule deliveries and inspectionsMonitor labor and prepare timesheets and two weeks look a headsBring the job in on time and under budgetMulti-Family Superintendent Requirements and Qualifications3-5+ years of experience as a multi-family superintendent preferredProficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is a plusCAD experience is a plusExcellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and writtenManagement skills, experience in team and project managementAbility to work with and manage a large team of contractors and subcontractors seamlesslyOrganized, thorough work ethicAnalytically and mathematically-mindedCritical thinker, problem-solverCompensation: $59,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
