For over a decade, our core clinical and support teams have worked side-by-side, delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment that changes lives.\n\nAs part of the Altior network, you'll find the stability of an established organization with the heart of a close-knit treatment community where every role matters.\n\nThe Education Coordinator supports the educational needs of clients by coordinating daily academic assignments in collaboration with the Lead Education Coordinator, supervising a two-hour academic block, assisting clients with schoolwork, maintaining educational materials and records, and helping ensure a structured and supportive learning environment.\n\nIn addition to educational responsibilities, the Education Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to help ensure the program runs efficiently. Duties may include coordinating supplies and inventory, processing client mail and packages, organizing program and storage spaces, assisting with documentation and compliance needs, providing basic technology support, and communicating facility and maintenance needs. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Education Coordinator may also provide direct client supervision, group support, and other program assistance based on operational needs and assigned responsibilities.\n\nCATEGORIES OF DUTIES\n\nAssists with client educational needs including supporting coursework, communicating requirements, helping meet deadlines, and coordinating with the Lead Education Coordinator. May include communication with schools, parents/guardians, and other providers as assigned.\nAssists clients with structured educational programming, therapeutic activities, experiential groups, routines, and other assigned program activities.\nSupports development or implementation of age-appropriate educational, recreational, therapeutic, or experiential materials and activities as assigned.\nMaintains inventory of household, office, educational, recreational, clinical-support, and other program supplies; identifies replenishment needs and coordinates with the purchasing department to keep essential items stocked.\nProcesses incoming client mail and packages daily in accordance with program policies.\nSupports preparation of materials, supplies, rooms, and technology for meetings, groups, educational activities, client programming, trainings, and special events.\nMaintains accurate and timely documentation within the scope of the position and in accordance with program, regulatory, accreditation, and confidentiality requirements.\nAssists clinical and program staff with administrative support, including scanning documents, organizing files, printing/copying, and other routine document-management tasks required for compliance.\nMonitors program spaces for routine operational needs and communicates concerns related to supplies, equipment, cleanliness, organization, safety, or maintenance to the appropriate department or leader.\nCollaborates with clinical, educational, nursing, direct care, admissions/discharge, facilities, and administrative staff to support continuity of care and effective program operations.\nProvides basic technology troubleshooting and coordination for routine program needs, including computers, printers, scanners, client educational technology, and other approved devices; escalates unresolved issues as appropriate.\nCoordinates with facilities team to ensure maintenance and repair needs are documented, communicated, and scheduled; follows up on open items as needed to support safe and functional program spaces.\nParticipates in staff meetings, trainings, in-service education, supervision, and program development activities.\nMaintains appropriate professional and therapeutic boundaries and protects client confidentiality at all times.\nTransports clients as needed and assigned when approved and authorized to drive.\nPerforms other duties as assigned to support client care and program operations.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience in a behavioral health, residential, educational, youth-serving, healthcare, or similar program setting preferred.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative and operational priorities.\nWorking knowledge of standard office technology, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, printers, scanners, and electronic document systems.\nAbility to communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with clients, families, schools, vendors, and multidisciplinary staff.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client and organizational information appropriately.\nMust meet all applicable organizational, licensing, background-check, training, and driving requirements for assigned duties.\n\nEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY\n\nThe Ridge provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.\n\nADA REQUIREMENT\n\nThe Ridge supports the Americans with Disabilities Act.
