We are a diverse, upbeat, creative team of engineers and managers working on a daily basis to develop innovative data centers for our customers.\n\nKey job responsibilities\nAs our Data Center Project Engineer, you will support the teams that build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. You will be on the construction site daily, interacting with construction managers and stakeholders, and be directly responsible for supporting the fast, high-quality delivery of our data center construction. The Data Center Project Engineer will be part of the onsite Construction Management team and will own the communication coordination with our vendors, information workflow, and coordination of document management, including requests for information (RFI), change orders, reports, and schedule updates.\n\nThe Data Center Project Engineer will be responsible for:\n\nLeading cross-functional communication and coordination between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless information flow for construction protocols, documentation access, and standardized procedures\n\nDeveloping and maintaining comprehensive tracking systems for design modifications, RFIs, and change orders, creating detailed dashboards with priority levels and deadlines for regional leadership review\n\nEvaluating Method of Procedure (MOP) submissions for thoroughness, necessity, and risk assessment\n\nManaging vendor onboarding processes, including security credentialing and orientation programs\n\nMaintaining current project management software with critical milestone updates, correspondence records, and document control\n\nCoordinating and monitoring owner-furnished material deliveries to ensure timely arrival at construction sites\n\nEstablishing and managing a centralized repository for contractor-supplied construction data\n\nOverseeing quality assurance programs through implementation of various checklists, including substantial completion verification, safety protocols, and quality control measures\n\nAbout the team\n**Why AWS**\nAmazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
