{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2c591ebbcf6f36b07a44c66c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c591ebbcf6f36b07a44c66c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c591ebbcf6f36b07a44c66c","title":"Electrical Engineer","description":"*Job Title: Electrical Engineer*\n\n*Location: Freeport, IL (Onsite)*\n\n*Duration: 12+ Months*\n\n*Roles & Responsibilities:*\n\n* Set up machines for testing of electro-mechanical switches\n* Develop test procedures\n* Create/update CAD drawings\n* Create/update LabVIEW programs for testing and qualification\n* Review, create, and update quality improvement plans for related manufacturing processes\n* Drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and product quality for customers\n* Update inspection-related instructions to adhere to current processes\n\n*Required Skills (Technical Competency):*\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in engineering\n* 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience\n* CAD experience required\n* Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes.\n* Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development.\n\n*Desired Skills:*\n\n* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience a plus\n* Previous experience with electro-mechanical products preferred\n* Previous experience with creating test procedures preferred\n* Experience with LabVIEW software valued\n* Six Sigma certification and /or Lean Expert certification valued\n* Previous experience with setting up new product lines in a manufacturing environment valued\n* Proficient with GD&T concepts\n* Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results\n* Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders\n* Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once\n* Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred\n\n*Physical Requirements & Work Environment:*\n\n* Mostly Shop Floor Environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking.
