Position: Environmental Education Camp Counselor & Activity Leader Duration: 2 Months Summer Camp Contract Job (Camp will run from May 14th – mid-July)Location: Indianapolis, INNeed CPR certified if not, will assist with this certification.Job Description:We are hiring Environmental Education Camp Counselors to support summer camp programs focused on nature-based learning and outdoor activities. This seasonal role involves working closely with children in a park setting, leading educational and recreational activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging camp environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervise campers and ensure a safe, positive experienceLead nature-based activities such as hiking, crafts, and environmental education lessonsAssist with daily camp operations, attendance, and schedulesMaintain program materials and suppliesCommunicate effectively with parents, staff, and participantsRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (degree in Environmental Education, Recreation, or related field preferred)At least 2 years of experience working with youthCPR/First Aid certification (required before start)Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong communication and organizational skills
