Entry Level Assembler - Heavy Assembler B

We have an immediate need for a Hi-Bay Assembler. This is an entry level position, so no prior experience is required. We will provide on-the-job training to help you succeed in this role. The hours for this position are 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Monday night - Friday morning. The rate of pay for this position is $23.45/ hr. plus .75 cent shift differential. Employees will train on days for a few weeks before going to night shift. We are looking for employees that would be responsible for assembling electrical equipment such as chassis, subassemblies, and cabinet enclosures with assistance from a Heavy Assembler "A" or a groupleader. Primary responsibilities: · Assemble materials. · Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work orders. · Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits. · Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, and wiring. · Tag components. · Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measure.
