{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2c49cd88f2255d35c0c42bee","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c49cd88f2255d35c0c42bee","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c49cd88f2255d35c0c42bee","title":"Information Systems Security Engineer - Expert","description":"Nightwing is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to bridge the gap between high-level security policies/requirements and the technical/operational implementation of those requirements.\r\nResponsibilities Work closely with ISSM and Sponsor IT managers through Agile management processes.\r\nProvide guidance, standards, and oversight to development teams as they progress toward accreditation and maintain accredited status.\r\nProvide input to A&A process activities and related documentation such as systems concept of operations, system security design, implementation plans, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials.\r\nConduct assessments of existing IT architecture for compliance with applicable security frameworks (e.g., ICD-503).\r\nEvaluate proposed security architectures and designs against security compliance requirements.\r\nProvide continuous monitoring support for information systems.\r\nUse scanning applications such as NESSUS, RAPID7, and others.\r\nCommunicate effectively with development teams and executive stakeholders, including interview and presentation.\r\nQualifications Bachelor's degree (preferably STEM) or equivalent technical experience.\r\n10 years of technical experience in information systems security.\r\nIn-depth understanding of cybersecurity policies and procedures for government sector information systems.\r\nTS/SCI clearance with polygraph required Day1.\r\nBasic understanding of information security principles and risk assessment techniques.\r\nAdvanced analytical and communication skills, able to incorporate new knowledge and educate teams.\r\nNightwing is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
