The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise access control, video surveillance, networking, servers, and related systems and be comfortable troubleshooting across both IT and field-device environments.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Program, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain access control, video surveillance, and other network-connected low-voltage systems.\n* Support *Open Options DNA Fusion*, including system programming, controllers, readers, access levels, schedules, alarms, and related configuration.\n* Support *Avigilon* video surveillance systems, including servers, cameras, recording equipment, software, and network connectivity.\n* Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure supporting these systems, including *Juniper switches*, IP addressing, VLANs, and Ethernet connectivity.\n* Troubleshoot Windows-based servers, workstations, software applications, databases, and communications between servers and field devices.\n* Provide advanced technical support to field technicians and assist in determining whether system problems originate with hardware, programming, software, or network infrastructure.\n* Perform software and firmware upgrades, system backups, configuration changes, testing, and commissioning as required.\n* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, programming changes, network information, and service activity.\n* Coordinate with customer IT personnel, manufacturers, field technicians, and project management to resolve technical issues.\n* Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues related to computer hardware, cabling, remote access software, and electrical wiring.\n* Collaborate with project teams on system design and layout to meet client specifications while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Experience with electronic security systems, networking, system administration, or a related technical field.\n* Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including IP addressing, VLANs, switching, and network troubleshooting.\n* Experience with Windows operating systems and Windows-based servers.\n* Experience programming and troubleshooting enterprise access control and/or IP video surveillance systems.\n* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability across hardware, software, and network systems.\n* Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including IP addressing, VLANs, switching, and network troubleshooting.\n* Ability to work independently in an on-site service environment and communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and technical support personnel.\n* Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to security systems including remote access software and network configuration.\n* Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to computer hardware, cabling infrastructure, sensors, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems efficiently.\n* Field service experience working on physical security systems in various environments with excellent customer service skills.\n\n*Preferred Experience*\n\nExperience with any of the following is highly desirable:\n\n* Open Options DNA Fusion\n* Avigilon\n* Juniper Networks\n* Mercury Security hardware\n* Windows Server and SQL databases\n* Enterprise access control and IP video surveillance systems\n\nManufacturer certifications are preferred but not required for candidates with equivalent hands-on experience.\n\nJoin us if you’re passionate about leveraging your technical expertise to enhance safety through innovative security solutions!\n\nPay: $35.50 -
