This is a unique opportunity to build and grow an advanced endoscopy program within a high-performing, physician-led organization.You will join a collaborative team of more than 50 gastroenterologists and subspecialists delivering comprehensive digestive care across South Jersey.About The ProgramVirtua GI & Digestive Health offers a fully integrated, multidisciplinary model, including:Interventional gastroenterologyHepatology and liver careIBD specialists and motility programColorectal surgery, oncology, and nutrition servicesThe interventional GI team focuses on diagnosing and treating complex pancreaticobiliary and GI disorders using minimally invasive, advanced endoscopic techniques.Procedural FocusThis role is ideal for a physician with advanced training in:ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)Advanced polypectomy and EMR/ and possibly ESD Luminal stenting and management of GI malignanciesBarrett’s esophagus therapies (e.g., ablation), available if interestedPancreaticobiliary interventionsVirtua’s program emphasizes minimally invasive procedures with faster recovery and improved outcomes.Position HighlightsEmployed position within a 1,700+ provider, clinician-led multispecialty groupOpportunity to develop and expand an advanced endoscopy programAccess to state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and technologyStrong referral network across primary care and subspecialtiesDedicated APP and clinical supportResponsibilitiesPerform advanced interventional GI procedures (ERCP, EUS, complex endoscopy)Collaborate with surgery, oncology, hepatology, and radiology teamsParticipate in interventional gastroenterology call rotationContribute to program growth, quality initiatives, and teachingQualificationsBoard-certified/board-eligible in GastroenterologyCompletion of Advanced/Interventional Gastroenterology fellowshipExpertise in ERCP and EUS requiredStrong interest in multidisciplinary, team-based careCompensation & BenefitsIn compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all physician roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $475,000.00 per year.
