{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2c19bc5512e84c0554d8f65a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c19bc5512e84c0554d8f65a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2c19bc5512e84c0554d8f65a","title":"Construction Project Manager Trainee","description":"Grove City, OH | Grove City Plant\r\nGrove City, OH 43123, USA\r\nThis position will be a developmental program for future Project Managers of which the necessary training and experience to fill a Project Manager position through mentoring and practical experience.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Assist Project Management group with daily activities including, but not limited to, preparation for kickoff meetings, project cost meetings and field planning (meetings, planning sheets, checklists, maps)\r\nManage a light project workload under close supervision of Manager of Project Management Services and other project managers as assigned\r\nAssist in the coordination of field repairs with internal departments and customer as required\r\nReview revised drawings, NOC's for scope changes in preparation for change orders\r\nVisit project sites prior to erection to review status, concerns and communicate Fabcon Field process to the customer\r\nAttend project site meetings as necessary\r\nShadow project managers in review and negotiation of contracts\r\nAttend scheduling meetings and maintain project timelines as required\r\nAssist in review of specifications and coordination of submittal requirements\r\nAssist in coordination of the drawing process with customers (OFA, FE and DMLO approvals)\r\nAssist in obtaining quotes from subcontractors and the development of the subcontractor base\r\nAssist in coordination of closing out projects both in collections, punch-lists and documents required by contracts\r\nAssist in handling 10 and out plan, tracking activities on projects to completion\r\nFollowing up on materials needed for completion and subcontractors as required\r\nReview OFA drawings for compliance with scope outlined in kickoff\r\nAssist in preparation of EAC's for timely loading of bids\r\nBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience\r\nOther Required Qualifications Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\r\nCustomer Service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills\r\nGood computer skills;
