We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.\n\nAbout The Role:\nThis role requires strong RF fundamentals, broad electrical systems experience, and the ability to move quickly from architecture to hardware integration and test. You will work closely with avionics, GNC, flight software, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations teams to deliver reliable communication, telemetry, navigation, and sensor/instrumentation systems.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDefine RF system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and verification approaches.\n\nDevelop block diagrams, link budgets, interface documentation, test plans, and integration procedures.\n\nDesign, build, integrate, and test RF hardware including antennas, radios, RF modules, cabling, connectors, and supporting electrical assemblies.\n\nExecute RF testing, including conducted RF tests, antenna measurements, environmental testing, and system‑level validation.\n\nTroubleshoot RF performance issues and drive corrective actions through design, build, integration, and test.\n\nSupport aircraft and ground station integration, ground test, flight test, and off‑nominal troubleshooting.\n\nAnalyze RF test and flight data, document results, and communicate risks and recommendations.\n\nSupport regulatory coordination related to FCC, FAA, AFTRCC, and other RF spectrum or flight test requirements.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.\n\n4+ years of experience with RF, antenna, radio, telemetry, communication, or electrical systems.\n\nExperience with RF/electrical test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.\n\nStrong RF fundamentals, including propagation, impedance matching, VSWR, gain/loss, noise figure, filtering, and link performance.\n\nExperience developing RF test plans, procedures, setups, or data analysis workflows.\n\nStrong hands‑on troubleshooting skills in lab, integration, or test environments.\n\nAbility to work cross‑functionally and clearly communicate technical tradeoffs, results, risks, and recommendations.\n\nBias toward action and willingness to work hands‑on with hardware.\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n\nMaster’s degree focused on antennas, RF systems, microwave circuits, communications, or related field.\n\nExperience with L, S, C, Ku, or Ka-band systems.\n\nAerospace, defense, aircraft, spacecraft, UAV, missile, or flight test experience.\n\nExperience with antennas, telemetry, radios, navigation, communication links, or RF instrumentation.\n\nFamiliarity with modulation schemes such as QAM, BPSK, QPSK, or SOQPSK.\n\nExperience with HFSS, CST, FEKO, ADS, MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.\n\nHands‑on prototyping skills, including soldering, cable fabrication, and connectorization.\n\nEMI/EMC or qualification testing experience, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-464, or DO-160.\n\nStartup, rapid prototyping, or agile hardware development experience.\n\nAbility to travel on short notice for integration, ground test, or flight test support.\n\nSalary\n$138,550 - $187,450 a year\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary and equity\n\nUnlimited PTO policy\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nYear‑end bonuses\n\nHealth care 100% employer paid\n\n401k & Retirement Plans\n\nWeekly Paid Office Lunches\n\nFully stocked breakrooms\n\nStock Options\n\nU.S. EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUS\nThe person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
