You'll have a large impact on the direction of our company, and will be compensated accordingly.\r\nWe're MIT-founded and backed by top generalist and climate tech investors, including Founders Fund, Energy Impact Partners, Lux Capital and Y Combinator (S21).\r\nIf you're excited to work on interesting problems with direct climate impact, you're going to fit right in!\r\nAbout This RoleAs a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Charge Robotics, you'll be working full-stack and playing a direct role in deploying gigawatts of clean power generation.\r\nWhat you'll be working on:\r\nArchitecting, building, documenting, testing, and iterating on software for our robotic factory installation system\r\nBuilding new features for our customer-facing web platform, Sunrise Studio\r\nContributing to low-level software powering robotic systems in our factories and delivery vehicles, with emphasis on correctness and safety\r\nControlling industrial automation hardware including linear actuators, motors, and hydraulic systems\r\nYou:\r\nAre an experienced Python and web developer who is also familiar with at least one lower-level language like C++\r\nKnow how to instrument and develop highly performant software as a member of a team, including writing clean code, documenting it, testing it, and using version control and CI\r\nHave worked in a fast-paced startup environment before, and loved it\r\nAre excited to work with (and occasionally safely climb into) giant robots\r\nHave excellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nAre based in or can relocate to the SF Bay Area, and able to work 4-5 days/week from our San Leandro HQ\r\nAre open to ~10% travel to field (solar construction sites) to work directly with our product in its deployment environment\r\nAre excited to see your work deployed onto actual solar farms!\r\nIt'd also be nice if you:\r\nHave experience working with industrial robot arms, motion planning, or automation systems\r\nHave a 4-year degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field\r\nGain satisfaction from personally playing a part in mitigating climate change\r\nCharge Robotics is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our company.
