Description:Description Our Rheumatology Physicians examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions. The Physician will take patient histories, request diagnostic tests, makes diagnoses, prescribes treatment, administers vaccinations, performs follow-up examinations, and additionally, will educates patients in disease prevention and health maintenance. The Physician will supervise the clinical activities of allied health professionals and advanced practice professionals.Requirements:Positions Requirements and Duties:Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.Order, perform, and interpret tests and examine records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients condition.Work as part of a clinical team of technicians, advanced practice professionals, and other physicians in conclusion making around tests, diagnoses and treatment options for patients with illnesses or diseases.Monitor patient conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.Outpatient only clinic that provides care to Adult Rheumatology patients and participates in researchDiagnose and treat conditions in area of RheumatologyOversee the clinical activities of a care team that may consist of midlevel providers, and health professionals.Provide support and effort to any other duties assignedBoard Certified in Rheumatology and have an active Texas Medical License.What we offerContracted competitive compensation leading to a productivity modellimited call - O/P only5 clinical days per weekeligibility for health and welfare benefits401(k) savings plan with matchCME reimbursement and paid time offExcellent Relocation Assistance packages
