Primary Duties & Responsibilities1.1 Safety:Wear all required PPEAlways respect safety systems, never disregard or work aroundMaintain training certifications and LMS training at 100% on timePrevent injuries by following all safety protocols; Report all injuries or pain experienced at work immediatelyAlways maintain awareness of surroundings; Understand all hazards in your workplace; Report any safety concerns to supervisor at earliest possible time1.2. Quality:Follow all work instructions/established procedures/SOP's at all timesMaintain data integrityUse extreme care when handling any product, do not rushStop and ask if there is a question about a tool, process, or priorityAlways log tools down that may have a problem or cannot be used to run productionReport any near misses to your supervisor so they can be fully investigated1.3. Productivity* Maintain break schedules keeping production moving, never leaving tools unattended* Follow dispatch list to run by priority unless otherwise directed by the Supervisor1.4. Reliability:* Adhere to Department's reliability expectations as it pertains to attendance and punctuality at all times1.5. Teamwork:Communicate professionally, without anger or negative emotions at all timesHandle differences in a professional manner, listen and respect others' point of viewOffer and accept constructive feedback positivelyEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent ExperienceExpected Minimum Years of Related Experience: Less than 1 yearSkillsMust be able to read and interpret specifications, maintain records, use basic arithmetic, and use material measurement equipmentStrong teaming skills, able to communicate professionally with all departments at all levelsRead, understand, and speak EnglishAbility to use PC software including Webmail to collaborate in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers, vendors, contractors, etc.Working ConditionsWork in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periodsWear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)Work 12 hour compressed shifts (alternate between 3 and 4 shifts per weekPhysical RequirementsStand for up to 6 hours at a timeLift up to 6-10 PoundsPush/Pull up to 16-30 poundsSit for up to 3 hours at a timeSafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
