Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Our client near Durham, NC is seeking a full time Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic team. This provider will treat patients in an ortho urgent care setting, working alongside an established team. Candidates with orthopedic experience are required.Responsibilities:Full time permanent positionMonday-Friday hours 12:30p-7:30pConduct thorough patient evaluations and assessmentsDiagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory testsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patientsPrescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitationMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededPerform injectionsFracture careQualifications:North Carolina State licenseKnowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminologyStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectivelyProficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systemsBase salary plus productionFull benefits package401kMedical, dental, vision optionsPTOCME
