The Working Foreman serves as the first-line leader in the field by coordinating labor, equipment, and materials while maintaining productivity and promoting a safe work environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionSupervise and direct daily activities of assigned concrete crews.\r\nLead by example by actively participating in all phases of concrete construction.\r\nAssign work based on employee skill level and project priorities.\r\nTrain, mentor, and develop employees in proper concrete construction techniques and safe work practices.\r\nMonitor employee performance and provide coaching and corrective guidance when necessary.\r\nConduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.\r\nCoordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules.\r\nComplete daily reports, timecards, production tracking, and other required documentation.\r\nAssist with other industrial construction jobs as needed.\r\nConcrete Construction DutiesRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, layout drawings, and project plans.\r\nPerform site layout and verify elevations and dimensions.\r\nBuild and install concrete forms, including wood, metal, and specialty forming systems.\r\nInstall reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, embeds, dowels, and related components.\r\nPlace, consolidate, screed, float, edge, and finish concrete.\r\nPerform slab, footing, foundation, wall, curb, equipment pad, and structural concrete work.\r\nOperate hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment.\r\nAssist with excavation, grading, and site preparation as needed.\r\nEnsure proper curing and protection of finished concrete.\r\nInspect completed work to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.\r\nEquipment & Vehicle ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles and transport crews, tools, and materials to project sites.\r\nMust be able to drive a company truck and pull equipment trailers safely and legally.\r\nOperate construction equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, mini excavators, concrete saws, vibrators, and power trowels as qualified.\r\nConduct daily inspections of company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.\r\nReport maintenance needs and equipment deficiencies promptly.\r\nSafety ResponsibilitiesPromote and enforce a strong safety culture.\r\nEnsure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\r\nIdentify and correct unsafe conditions immediately.\r\nMaintain housekeeping and organization on job sites.\r\nParticipate in incident investigations and corrective actions when required.\r\nQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\r\nMinimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial concrete construction experience.\r\nMinimum of2 years of supervisory or foreman experience preferred.\r\nStrong knowledge of concrete placement, forming systems, reinforcing steel, finishing techniques, and curing methods.\r\nAbility to read construction drawings and specifications.\r\nStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.\r\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.\r\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.\r\nMust be able to pass pre-employment and random drug
