Program Coordinator

CHS is seeking a program coordinator for our community living supports program in Wayne County. The coordinator supervises and schedules the staff and ensures excellent care of clients with developmental disabilities living in their own homes. Each coordinator is assigned to approximately 6 sites. This is a salaried position based on $21.10 for a 40 hour week. The shift is M-F from 8-4 but does require on call status for your homes. There are times you will need to pick up shifts or provide staff direction, so it does require some flexibility. You are awarded comp time in these instances. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity that requires strong leadership skills, an understanding of the services to people with developmental disabilities, high reliability and a calm, rational approach. Education and leadership experience are both taken into consideration in the hiring process.
