The position will work with the Senior Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager leading the project team.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nALL aspects of creating and maintaining a safe job site.\n\nCoordinates and supervises all construction activities.\n\nCreates & maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.\n\nOrders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.\n\nOrganizes and directs all self-perform work on site.\n\nDirects all field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.\n\nCORE COMPETENCIES:\n\nConstruction Knowledge: Professional expert, knowledge & skill in all technical construction aspects.\n\nComputers: Able to operate computers, send/receive e-mails, and create spreadsheets, write a letter, and build a schedule using a scheduling program.\n\nOrganization: Utilizes strong organizational skills.\n\nCommunication: Displays strong & effective written and oral communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, team members, subcontractors, and neighbors and employs practical listening skills.\n\nProblem-solving: Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions promptly based on goals, priorities, objectives, risks, implications, and costs.\n\nInterpersonal Skills: Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including working well within a team and with diverse personalities.\n\nWORK SKILLS: Well-developed interpersonal skills. A self-starting, highly motivated, and goal-oriented individual. Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality. Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Project is a must.\n\nEXPERIENCE: 5+ Years\n\nQUALIFICATIONS: A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with renovating and constructing commercial and institutional buildings and related site work. The ability to effectively communicate both in written and spoken English words. Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email, and other software used in the construction industry.
