The role involves supporting the setup and operation of heat transfer systems in the battery manufacturing facility and coordinating with contractors, project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other parties.\n\nSupport the setup and operation of heat transfer system in the battery manufacturing facility – especially related to:\n\nOil heaters\n\nHot oil skids\n\nHeat exchangers\n\nHeat fluid transfer system\n\nCommunicate project scope, design, and deliverable requirements to contractors, project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other involved parties.\n\nCoordinate closely with all parties regarding any changes in scope, design, or construction method.\n\nTrack and report on project progress, deliverables, delays, impacts, or improvements.\n\nPerform daily walks in field.\n\nAttend meetings, take detailed notes, and report to all interested parties.\n\nDistinguish and identify concerns/issues, then attain solutions.\n\nLiaise with contractors, project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other involved parties.\n\nBudget employees, direct and indirect, and manage other resources.\n\nWork under the direct command and management of a facility construction supervisor.\n\nSupport other engineers and agents in the team and contractors involved in the project.\n\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements\n\nFull Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator (as appropriate).\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nAbility to walk or maneuver approximately 3 miles per day in the factory.\n\nWillingness to work in a construction environment and wear appropriate PPE.\n\nAbility to follow safety requirements and procedures provided by the company and its agents.\n\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial facility management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).\n\nHands‑on experience (design, setup, and operation) with oil heaters, hot oil skids, heat exchangers, or heat fluid transfer system in an industrial setting.\n\nStrong analytical and project management skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nOpen to accepting challenges and trying to overcome them – either individually or collectively.\n\nFocus on achieving the organization’s goals while developing individual skills and gaining knowledge.\n\nAbility to collaborate with others for building successful projects.\n\nLocation\nOnsite role at Panasonic Energy’s Gigafactory near Reno, Nevada.
