As a Raw Material Handler, you'll kickstart the extrusion process, ensuring our machines are supplied with the right materials for seamless operation and top-notch product quality. Attention to detail is key in this pivotal role. While previous experience is beneficial, we're willing to train the perfect candidate who's passionate about making a difference in our production process.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage the inventory and distribution of over 20 different products and materials, ensuring precise supply to the dryers and extrusion lines.\nOperate a variety of machinery including dryers, grinders, filters, tippers, and blenders.\nMaintain cleanliness of gaylords, blenders, grinders, and work area to prevent any potential cross-contamination of materials.\nMaintain accuracy and completeness in all paperwork related to material tracking and processing.\nSet up, operate, and maintain blending equipment, guaranteeing timely and accurate supply of materials to all production lines.\nPerform material clean out of equipment when changing over jobs to ensure no cross-contamination.\nResponsible for understanding the food safety hazards of their job and following the employee GMPs and other procedures to ensure food safety.\nOther duties as assigned.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalency.\nAbility to work as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills.\nProblem solving skills.\nTime management skills.\nOrganizational and prioritization skills.\nAttention to details.\nBasic math skills.\nAbility to use resources to find documents.\nDependable work record.\nMechanical aptitude and ability.\nOne year manufacturing experience preferred.\nMust be able to pass a background check and drug screen.\nPHYSICAL/ MENTAL DEMANDS:\nStanding/ Sitting – Primarily a standing job, minimal sitting\nLifting/ Carrying – Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally assist with 100 lbs. Some lifting and carrying is over shoulder height.\nBending/ Reaching – Frequently necessary to bend and push/ pull equipment. It is also occasionally necessary to squat, crawl, crouch, reach above shoulder level, balance and kneel.\nWalking/ Climbing – Frequent walking and occasionally necessary to climb up to 15 feet.
