Project Controller
Banyan Search is searching for a strong Manager of FP&A for a SERVICE oriented client. Our client has a heart for mission and service to others.The Manager of FP&A is a forward-looking finance leader responsible for budgeting, financial planning, systems optimization, and financial analytics. This role partners closely with senior finance leadership and operational department heads to support informed decision-making and drive efficiency across the organization.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership and department headsDevelop budget assumptions, models, timelines, and supporting documentationPerform ongoing financial projections, scenario analysis, and long-range financial planningConduct monthly financial performance reviews versus budget with department leaders, including variance analysis and identification of trends, risks, and opportunitiesServe as a financial resource to operational leaders, supporting data-driven decision-makingPartner with IT and finance leadership to implement, optimize, and champion enterprise systems and reporting toolsIdentify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement within finance and across departmentsSupport special projects including financial modeling for strategic initiatives and capital projectsPrepare financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership and governing bodiesKey Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysisExperience partnering with operational leaders on financial performance and staffing metricsAbility to improve financial systems, reporting tools, and automationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiencesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or financial planningExperience with system implementations or process redesign preferredCertificationsCPA preferred; CMA or other relevant certifications a plusThis position is ONSITE and is perfect for someone that wants to take ownership of the FP&A process, working with senior leaders.Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship requirements.Compensation:$120,000 per year
