maintain software applications and program components supporting enterprise business and IT operations.\nWrite, modify, debug, and optimize code in accordance with established development standards and best practices.\nAnalyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.\nDevelop and maintain web-based applications, desktop applications, APIs, scripts, and software integrations.\nCollaborate with project managers, business analysts, systems engineers, architects, and stakeholders to develop effective technical solutions.\nPerform software unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution activities.\nTroubleshoot application issues and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and improve performance.\nDevelop and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and related data processing components.\nSupport application modernization and enhancement efforts to improve system functionality, maintainability, and user experience.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure quality, security, performance, and compliance with development standards.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, code documentation, release notes, and implementation guides.\nAssist development within Federal environments.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of four (4) years of software development experience.\nExperience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar technologies.\nExperience with relational databases, SQL development, and database design concepts.\nKnowledge of software development methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.\nExperience working with source control and version management tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience performing software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.\nFamiliarity with web services, REST APIs, and application integration concepts.\nFamiliarity with Federal Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), FISMA reporting, vulnerability management, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), or enterprise service delivery functions.\nFamiliarity with DHS and CISA operational
