This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep production moving efficiently while supporting team members and resolving issues as they arise.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervise second shift production employees and provide direction throughout the shift.\nEnsure all employees follow company procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nMonitor production flow and take action to keep work moving according to schedule.\nIdentify and resolve production issues, equipment concerns, staffing needs, or material shortages in a timely manner.\nCommunicate daily priorities, expectations, and updates clearly to team members.\nCoordinate with first shift, management, maintenance, quality, and other departments to support smooth operations.\nMaintain accurate shift records, production reports, attendance information, and other required documentation.\nCoach employees on performance, productivity, safety, and adherence to procedures.\nPromote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\n\nThe successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, maintain consistent enforcement of procedures, support production goals, and communicate issues or concerns promptly.
