Position SummaryThe Vocational Services Coordinator position provides leadership to the Business Services Team in delivering human services programs to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This position coordinates vocational rehabilitation programs supervises vocational service staff and has a small caseload of clients.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The FollowingProvide leadership and supervision for all human service program operations in Peckham’s Business ServicesProvide support and supervision for Business service staff via coaching, training, goal setting, encouragement, information/resources, and feedbackWork collaboratively with the Business Services Management in providing quality employment services to persons served while meeting business needsProvide clinical consultation to staff for the purpose of effective service plan development, progress tracking, and achievement of desirable outcomesSupervise maintenance of case file records, program evaluation information, and quality documents in accordance with both Peckham and CARF standardsOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The FollowingAct as the lead in providing direct vocational evaluation, situational assessment and work adjustment training services to referred participants as neededProvide person-centered case management services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employmentAssist program participants in developing an individualized program plan in consideration of their vocational goals, strengths, interests, functional limitations, and potential utilization of assistive technology and other job accommodations.Process initial intake documents; maintain electronic case files for program participantsDeliver one-on-one counseling, coaching and/or training with program participants when needed and/or requested. Provide human resources support to program participants, including new hire orientation, FMLA management, and support with corrective action as needed.Analyze client, community and referral source needs through survey results, town hall meetings, direct feedback and demographic studies, etc. to improve and develop quality services in order to meet expressed needsDevelop and maintain relationships with community partners, agencies, families and other stakeholdersMake continuous improvement efforts in program design, service delivery, and customer service in order to meet the changing needs of stakeholders-Utilize a team approach to provide support and resource to the entire Apparel Manufacturing staff in advancing Peckham’s missionFacilitate effective communication and interactions between services and operations teams as well as and Peckham headquartersProvide individual counseling and crisis intervention for participants as neededPromote Peckham’s vision, value, culture, and commitment to excellent customer services to all team members, staff, customers and stakeholders.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Other related duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position supervises staff positionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment in vocational, workforce development, human services, or case management settings.or 4-6 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment in vocational, workforce development, human services, or case management settings.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.1-2 years of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring othersKnowledge of program compliance requirements, including experience supporting documentation, audits, or reporting aligned with regulatory or accreditation standards.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree (M.A.) in Rehabilitation CounselingPrefer L.P.C. – Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
