You will also serve as an escalation resource, share knowledge with junior team members, and continue building expertise through training and industry certifications.\n\nJob Title: Systems Engineer\n\nJob Location: Hybrid - Hartford, CT\n\nSalary: Starting 85k\n\nGeneral job duties include:\n\nManage on-premises and cloud environments, including hardware and software configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation in alignment with client requirements and company standards.\n\nComplete project tasks, service tickets, routine maintenance, and client-site work efficiently in both remote and on-site environments.\n\nDesign, deploy, administer, and support Microsoft 365 and Azure services while maintaining a strong working knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies.\n\nServe as an escalation point for complex technical issues from the Technical Assistance Center and other team members, and assist with troubleshooting through resolution.\n\nCollaborate with the Design Team on the development, evaluation, and delivery of scopes of work and technical quote specifications.\n\nMaintain clear, timely communication with clients, managers, client engagement managers, and project stakeholders regarding status, risks, issues, and resolutions.\n\nMaintain accurate and current documentation for client infrastructure, implementations, configuration changes, support incidents, and technical procedures.\n\nKeep work orders and ConnectWise records current and complete in accordance with company and Service Operations policies and procedures.\n\nFollow standard installation procedures and checklists, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements when appropriate.\n\nMentor and share technical knowledge with junior team members and contribute to a collaborative Service Operations environment.\n\nMaintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and industry developments that may affect client environments.\n\nMeet established service-delivery and billable-hour expectations while completing work accurately, professionally, and on schedule.\n\nParticipate in the on-call rotation and provide scheduled off-hours support as required.\n\nWork with your manager on an ongoing education and certification plan to maintain and expand technical expertise.\n\nAttend company and departmental meetings and provide updates on client issues, project status, and scheduling concerns.\n\nSome projects may involve law enforcement agencies.
