Typical tasks include execution of engineering calculations including heattransfer and pressure drop calculations. The Entry-Level Process Engineer is responsible for supporting the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines. The Entry-Level Process Engineer may support field installation teams and execute construction site observations. This role is expected to work closely with other architects, engineers and designers, as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.\nCore Activities Supports the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.\nWorks closely with other architects, engineers and designers, as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.\nSelf-checks own work but communicates often with peers and Supervisor.\nAble to work on one or more projects concurrently and manage time effectively.\nSolves complex problems under the direction and supervision of a mentor or supervisor\nProject work may include all levels of design such as studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration.\nWorks on matters of basic complexity in a support role under the direction of more experienced Process Engineers.\nEngineering deliverables include: Block and Process Flow Diagrams\nUser Requirements Specifications\nEquipment List\nEquipment General Arrangements\nEquipment Datasheets\nUtility Summary\nPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams(P&IDs)\n\nQualifications ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering\n0 to 3 years of experience in a design firm setting\nFundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion preferred\nPreferred Qualifications Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations, developing and implementing list of discipline systems designs\nFundamental experience with chemistry/biochemistry\nFundamental experience with process modeling, material and energy balances and basic sizing calculations\nFundamental experience with fluid mechanics, hydraulic modeling and fundamental heat transfer\nStrong communication skills and ability to participate in internal cross-discipline project team coordination\nProficient at fundamental discipline design calculations under the supervision of an engineer\nProficiency in AutoCAD\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite required\nProficiency in engineering software applications including computer-aided drafting, process modeling and calculation programs\nAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
