Most importantly, the successful candidate must be able to lead a team of local and oversee designers at this plant.\r\nPurpose of Position\r\nThis position is responsible for designing roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels using MiTek software. The core responsibilities of the Head Truss Designer are to ensure that truss designs are accurately input based on customer plans while optimizing the designs to save on material and labor and conforming to code and company standards while leading a team of designers. This position requires an individual with general construction knowledge, attention to detail, design software experience, and the ability to lead a team.
