We pride ourselves on being a full-service Contractor attentive and responsive to the needs of our Customers; providing a full range of services and solutions for construction and maintenance projects in the industries that we serve.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\nApply critical engineering and management thinking\nWeld Mapping\nQuantity tracking\nTake Off's\nWeld Inspections\nMaterial Search\nAssist in development and implementation of safety plans\nConduct site audits and material testing and analysis\nPerform inventory checks, daily field engineering tests, and cost analyses\nComplete change order preparations and production tracking\nAssist with drawings (method/field) estimating, scheduling, and surveying)\nSupport with procurement and quality assurance reviews\nMaintaining files and records, copying, and scanning\nProcess charts/graphs, designs, and proposals\nAssume additional responsibilities as directed\n\nThis is a full-time requiring 40+ hours per week.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nRelevant Course work: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or other related program at the time of their internship, as well as having completed their sophomore year\nCandidates should possess leadership potential, be problem-solvers, and be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment\nAutoCAD, experience preferred\nConstruction Management Skills\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or manipulate controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and construction equipment; in high, precarious places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock where employee must utilize the proper personal protective equipment and/or other safeguards for their protection.
