OverviewThe Recruiter II will work collaboratively with hiring leaders, to continually develop and strengthen relationships. with candidate pools and peer partners to deliver candidates for NFCU's hiring needs. With limited oversight, leverages various recruiting strategies and techniques to identify candidates and assemble a diverse pipeline of talent. Serve as an ambassador for NFCU by championing our culture to attract and engage candidate.ResponsibilitiesPerform full cycle recruiting utilizing various recruitment methods for mid-level positions in traditional business functionsIntermittently sources passive talent to meet NFCU's hiring needsGuide hiring managers through the recruitment process to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and industry laws, regulations, and guidelinesPartner with internal and external resources to build networks and relationships in support of our military and diversity hiring with guidance from team leaders and senior peersContribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives including process improvements and projectsPartner with senior peers and team leaders to stay abreast of changes related to relevant human resource disciplines specifically employment law, policy, and procedureRegularly provide solutions to recruiting related challenges and appropriately escalate to a senior peer or team leadPerform intermediate technology navigation to include relevant recruitment software and programsKeep candidates continually informed with predictable communication throughout the hiring processMay participate in recruitment events and communities to support candidate generationPresent and negotiate competitive total compensation packages, collaborating with Compensation &Benefits as needed, while maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to NFCU.Partner with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to identify gaps in hiring processes and recommend and implement recruitment solutions.May participate in training new or developing team membersWhen appropriate, partners with internal recruiting and talent development teams to identify internal recruitment solutionsAs applicable, maintain consistent communication efforts with talent pipelines.Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and industry laws, regulations, and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsIntermediate experience in staffing and/ or full cycle recruitment to include knowledge of applicable employment lawsIntermediate knowledge of effective screening and interview techniquesIntermediate knowledge and use of sourcing tools, techniques, and technologiesAbility to successfully assess candidate qualificationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrityAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced skill in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsEffective skill interacting tactfully and effectively in difficult situationsEffective skill building relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tactAdvanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsBachelor's Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted in lieu of a degreeDesired QualificationsExperience in financial services industry and knowledge of bank processes and services is preferredDeveloping knowledge of compensation best practices as it relates to offer generationDeveloping skills in training teammatesAdvanced experience supporting New Branch Opening (NBO) recruiting, including high‑volume hiring, hiring waves, and talent readinessDeep expertise in branch operations recruiting, supporting roles across member service and branch leadership levelsExperience partnering closely with Branch Operations leadership to forecast talent needs and support business initiativesAdditional InformationHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocations: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 5510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526141 Security Drive, Winchester, VA 226029999 Willow Creek Road, San Diego, CA 92131About UsNavy Federal provides much more than a job.
