Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient selection Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support catering events and special functions by preparing meals efficiently and accurately Use knife skills proficiently to chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients for various dishes Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold the restaurant’s quality standards Requirements Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or fine dining setting Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including proficiency with various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen operations in the food industry Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent knife skills and understanding of culinary fundamentals are highly desirable Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
