You will serve as Manager on Duty and support the Center Director in delivering a high-quality center experience.\n\nThis role blends instructional leadership, classroom management, and customer experience.\n\nWhat We Offer\n$18.0 hourly rate\nPart-time leadership role (typically 20–25 hours per week)\nOpportunities for Growth and Leadership Development across multiple centers\nPaid training on the Mathnasium Method\nSupportive leadership team and ongoing professional development\nWhat You Will Do\nLead the classroom environment as a Lead Instructor\nManage instructional flow and maintain appropriate student-to-instructor ratios\nCoach, train, and support instructors to ensure high-quality instruction\nEnsure consistent implementation of the Mathnasium Method\nDeliver effective math instruction when needed\nServe as Manager on Duty, including opening and closing the center\nConduct center tours and support consultative enrollment conversations\nSchedule assessments and assist with student enrollment\nMonitor student progress and communicate with the Center Director\nProvide feedback on instructor performance and development\nParticipate in local marketing initiatives and community outreach\nHelp create a fun, positive, and productive learning environment\nCore Responsibilities\nInstructional Leadership & Classroom Management\nInstructor Coaching & Staff Development\nStudent Progress Monitoring\nCustomer Experience & Enrollment Support\nCenter Operations & Team Collaboration\nRequirements\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of math concepts through 12th grade\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills\nAbility to connect with students, parents, and team members\nDemonstrated leadership ability and sound judgment in fast-paced environments\nAbility to coach, train, and engage instructional staff\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nCollaborative leadership mindset with ability to delegate responsibilities\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace\nHigh School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred\nSchedule & Availability\n\nThis is a part-time Lead Instructor role.\n\nTypical schedule includes:\n\nMonday–Thursday: afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)\nSunday: approximately 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM\n\nLead Instructors typically work 20–25 hours per week, depending on center needs.\n\nWho We Are\n\nFortis Franchise Group is the #1 Mathnasium Franchisee in the United States.
