Role Description The Chief Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive cost projections. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, preparing cost budgets, analyzing blueprints, coordinating with vendors, and managing estimation teams. The role requires consistent collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure project success. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Elk River, MN. Qualifications Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and bid preparation for construction projects.Ability to analyze blueprints, project specifications, and other technical documents.Team leadership experience, including collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing estimation teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor coordination skills.Proficiency in estimation software and tools, with strong attention to accuracy and details.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Prior experience in an estimating role within construction or related industries is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
