Analyzes process effectiveness, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.\n\nRecommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.\n\nOptimize material used to produce products and reduce cost of manufacturing\n\nReduce material waste and scrap on manufactured products\n\nConfers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.\n\nDevelops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, and job evaluation.\n\nPerform Ergonomic Studies of jobs.\n\nDevelop database programs as needed to aid in flow of information.\n\nTrack and record pertinent data for developmental products.\n\nSubmit new products for testing and/or certification.\n\nDevelop and maintain Departmental Job Procedures.\n\nMaintain and distribute various reports for management.\n\nOvertime is required as needed\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
