Montessori Primary (3K-5K) Lead Teacher
Description JOB SUMMARY: Adeline Montessori School is seeking a Primary Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year for students ages 3 years to 6 years. Job summary includes the ability to create lesson plans and update Montessori materials focused on developing social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills. The Primary Teacher will also assess individual children's needs, communicate with families, and work under the supervision of the Program Director. QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will have experience or education in Early Childhood and can demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with families and faculty. Ideal candidates will have a clear understanding of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, implementation, and classroom management skills, or be willing to learn. Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans using instructional materials that align with the Montessori philosophyDevelop schemes of work, lesson plans in accordance with established procedures that support the socio-emotional growth of studentsObserve, guide, supervise and assess children while they learn in the classroom environmentCommunicate effectively and consistently with students, colleagues, and families regarding student progress and needsEstablishes rapport and builds loving and safe relationships with students based on trustObserve and evaluate students' performance and development using Transparent ClassroomParticipate in department, school, district, and family meetings, orientations, trainings, and professional developmentUltimately create, maintains, and models a classroom culture that aligns with the school's visionFacilitates and maintains an environment that is safe, clean, stimulating and caters to the child Other functions of the job include but are not limited to the followingDemonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgroundsEncourage family and community involvement, obtain information for families when requested, promptly return phone calls and answer emailsParticipate in appropriate professional activities and professional developmentEnsure materials are accessible to meet individual needsMeet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and stateProven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basisAbility to establish and maintain cooperate, collaborative and effective working relationships with others
