Safety Representative

DescriptionThe Safety Representative will be responsible for supporting daily field safety activities across multiple customer locations in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. Responsibilities include conducting field visits, safety observations, audits, coaching employees on safe work practices, participating in customer safety meetings, and assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions.This individual will help ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and applicable safety regulations while serving as a visible safety resource for field personnel and operations management.Responsibilities Include:Conduct field safety visits and site inspections across the assigned regionPerform safety observations, hazard recognition, and behavior-based safety interactionsSupport and reinforce company and customer safety policies and expectationsParticipate in customer safety meetings, tailgates, and safety stand-downsAssist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-upReview JSA's, permits, and field documentation for complianceMonitor and promote safe driving practices and fleet safety expectationsCommunicate safety concerns, trends, and recommendations to operations managementMaintain accurate records, reports, and safety documentationBuild positive working relationships with customers and field personnelRequirementsPrevious oil & gas safety experience preferredKnowledge of OSHA regulations and oilfield safety practicesStrong hazard recognition and observation skillsAbility to work independently and manage travel across a large geographic areaGood communication and interpersonal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and basic reporting/documentationValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to travel regularly throughout West Texas and Southeast New Mexico
