{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2ba131a836c6dd8d532188b8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ba131a836c6dd8d532188b8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ba131a836c6dd8d532188b8","title":"Building Systems Data Engineer","description":"Description:\n\nThe Building Systems Data Engineer is responsible for providing support to the production engineering team as a data analyst and for working with the Engineering Manager to develop and maintain internal data analysis tooling and processes.\n\nAs an individual contributor, the Building Systems Data Engineer must operate with a high degree of technical competence, organizational discipline, and professional judgment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nTechnical Analysis\n\nAnalyze the performance of HVAC systems such as chilled and hot water plants, air handling units, and terminal units\n\nAnalyze the results of automated functional performance testing\n\nProvide energy modeling services for design and commissioning activities\n\nReview building automation system configuration\n\nPerform utility bill and monitoring and verification analysis\n\nDevelopment and Maintenance of Internal Tooling/Software\n\nDevelop internal software for production Cx activities\n\nDeployment of initial Cx project setups\n\nManage Cx test and document templates\n\nDevelop software for enhancing automated functional performance testing\n\nDevelop and maintain tooling for production review at portfolio scale\n\nDeploy sensor packages on-site\n\nData Infrastructure Management\n\nManage virtual machines hosting web server applications\n\nManage time series databases\n\nManage internal relational databases\n\nManage SharePoint file storage and archival\n\nRequirements:\n\nSkills, Experience and Professional Credentials\n\nBachelor’s Degree from accredited academic program in Engineering required, Preferably with Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree.\n\n1–3 years of relevant industry experience\n\nSoftware Development – Required skills\n\nProgramming experience in collaborative environment\n\nApplication development on external APIs\n\nAnalysis -
