Handler","description":"Summary\nResponsible for ensuring the organic materials flow through the shakers, informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers, performs housekeeping duties which include scraping, sweeping and shoveling, stacking bags, and assists where necessary at the direction of the foreman.\nTask:\n75% of the time focused on rework\n25% of the time focused on sanitation/housekeeping i.e., last 2 hours of each shift cleaning the infeed area for the subsequent shift.\nJustification: to prevent packaging downtime by pulling operators away from the machines in order to clean.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nMaintains the flow through the shakers by poking the material to break it up to prevent bridging\nMaintains the finishing screens by scraping them to insure the product flows through it\nPerforms housekeeping duties to insure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and cat-walks by following safety practices to avoid injuries\nMeets quality and quantity standards\nInforms the maintenance personnel of any equipment problems in which they may encounter\nAssists with small bag line operations as needed\nAssists with restacking pallets and clean-up as needed\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nEntry level experience\nElectrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience\nAbility to follow safety practices to insure their safety and the safety of others around them-\nAbility to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather\nAbility to lift 50
