{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2b98d3675b1d670af6fa4bab","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b98d3675b1d670af6fa4bab","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b98d3675b1d670af6fa4bab","title":"Electrical Control Engineer","description":"Smart4Sciences are working with a global manufacturing organisation who are looking to add an Electrical Project Control Engineer to their engineering team at their Circleville, Ohio facility.This is a hands-on project engineering role where you’ll be responsible for scoping, designing, engineering and installing electrical and control projects across the facility, including both new installations and modifications to existing processes.You’ll take projects from concept and budgeting through to construction, commissioning and start-up, working closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors and EHS to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop project concepts, plans, scopes, budgets and schedulesLead projects from initial engineering through construction, commissioning and start-upObtain engineering and construction bids and coordinate contractorsOversee electrical, controls and process instrumentation installations and improvementsSupport plant power distribution, infrastructure and supporting systemsCoordinate system outages and project-related shutdownsTrack project spending and communicate budget and cost trendsWork closely with operations, maintenance, purchasing, vendors and EHSAssist with troubleshooting and diagnosis of operational and maintenance issuesDevelop operating and training programmes associated with new projectsEnsure projects meet OSHA PSM, TS16949 and environmental permitting requirementsCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related engineering discipline5+ years’ experience with controls, DCS and/or PLC systemsExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial process instrumentationExperience managing projects from concept through to commissioningStrong understanding of industrial electrical and control systemsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to conceptualise systems and translate requirements into practical engineering solutionsExperience with GE Proficy iFix, SCADA, HMI or historian systems would be advantageousWhat's On Offer$85,000 -
