The Implementation Project Manager will drive integrating HIE functionality within workflows. The Implementation Project Manager will also be responsible for vendor engagement and organizing Contexture staff in various implementation roles.\n\nThis position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:\nWork with community participants in ambulatory and hospital settings to document current process workflows, identify benefits and improvements provided by an HIE, and re-engineer workflow based on selected Contexture product(s).\nPlan, schedule, estimate, forecast, coordinate, re-plan as appropriate, and manage delivery of all implementation deliverables through the entire life cycle.\nMonitor and report on the status of project efforts, including communicating risks, via weekly status reporting and provide problem prevention/mitigation.\nBecome an expert in selected hospital/practice-based software functionality.\nProvide defect management based on user acceptance testing outcomes.\nManage community and vendor relationships, including management of scope, expectations, status, and issue follow-up.\nAbility to interpret raw HL7 messages and raw XML data and troubleshoot issues through review of the raw data compared to clinical data visualization in the portal.\nCommunicate technical issues in an understandable way to less technically savvy participants.\nAbility to be the technology expert in user acceptance testing, defect identification/remediation, and gaps in clinical data.\nPlanning and executing user training and ongoing adoption support, ensuring that users are adequately trained, educated, and advised on the functionality, processes, and associated benefits.\nTroubleshooting and helping users rectify system issues.\nWork with community participants and vendors to establish network connectivity to Contexture HIE.\nIdentify, prioritize, communicate, and drive resolution of critical issues and risks to mitigate negative impact to community satisfaction.\nSupport Contexture’s Client Support Services team on post-production issues, as necessary.\nEffectively manage difficult situations with clear timely decision making as well as incisive and creating problem solving.\nEffectively self-manage through difficult and demanding situations with clear and timely decision making and incisive and creative problem solving.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nSkills\nStrong knowledge of clinical workflow, ideally across healthcare providers and systems.\nEnd user training, both individual and classroom settings.\nProcess & workflow mapping and redesign.\nStrong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality.\nAbility to establish and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work on a minimum of 15 implementations at the same time.\nA proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile methodologies with demonstrated experience in Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne or equivalent.\nOutstanding communications skills, able to communicate with all levels.\nAbility to produce high levels of customer satisfaction and commitment.\nAbility to lead meetings attended by senior executives, manage expectations and drive consensus.\nTeam Player, able to excel in unstructured and structured environments.\nClient-focused.\nConflict management.\nAbility to understand the big picture while working at a detailed, task-based level.\nStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.\nWilling to travel within the state.\n\nEducation/Experience\nMinimum of 3+ years of experience in complex healthcare software system implementations.\nBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or another related field required; equivalent directly related work experience in IT project management in healthcare working with external customers may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
